Follow The Royals And Get Solar Panels On Your Roof

It has been leaked on Westminster Council’s website that Prince Charles has apparently applied for planning permission to put solar panelling on the roof of Clarence House, his official residence. The Prince has long been an advocate of increasing awareness of the effect of global warming and the damage it could cause to it and this just demonstrates his commitment towards helping eradicate it. It could be said that the Prince has the funds to fund something like this, but over time he will start to benefit from not only the heating benefits they provide, but also the reduction in energy bills they will bring.

You could follow his lead as solar panelling is not just available by royal appointment. Solar panels in Cheshire and solar panels in Cumbria are widely available for homeowners to purchase for their property. Yes they are a big investment, but down the line you will be saving thousands of pounds which will more than cover that investment. This is because the solar panels will be helping provide your home with all the heating and hot water that you need, rather than relying on conventional heating systems which are subject to ever increasing bills. Traditional energy supplies are running out and people need to be aware of this. The great thing about solar panelling is that it runs purely on renewable energy as it utilises natural light, something which is never in short supply.

The panelling is also guaranteed to last, as once installed it has a life span of around 30 years and most installation companies provide a guarantee should anything go wrong in the meantime. Ignore solar panelling at your peril as it is the way most homes will be heated in the future. So get in there first and if it is good enough for Prince Charles, it is good enough for you.
